Starting in 2020, North Carolina Wine and Grape Month was divided into two celebrations. Just in time for the start of summer, May has been designated North Carolina Wine Month. It’s a time when wineries and vineyards celebrate and are recognized for their accomplishments. Several wineries across the state have special celebrations throughout the month.
And just in time for the grape harvest, August has been designated North Carolina Grape Month. This month celebrates fresh market grapes and we like to include wine grapes in that celebration too.
