\u00a0Of course that&#8217;s the wine we want to buy, but we can&#8217;t commit to another wine club. \u00a0Just don&#8217;t offer it unless someone does join your wine club.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2386\" src=\"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/BIRU-WP-20170719T160438GMT-0400-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/BIRU-WP-20170719T160438GMT-0400-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/BIRU-WP-20170719T160438GMT-0400-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/BIRU-WP-20170719T160438GMT-0400-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/BIRU-WP-20170719T160438GMT-0400-1104x1104.jpg 1104w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/BIRU-WP-20170719T160438GMT-0400-912x912.jpg 912w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/BIRU-WP-20170719T160438GMT-0400-550x550.jpg 550w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/BIRU-WP-20170719T160438GMT-0400-470x470.jpg 470w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/BIRU-WP-20170719T160438GMT-0400.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lack of hashtags in posts on social media about wines, wineries, vineyards.<\/strong> \u00a0You see we&#8217;re big proponents of hashtags as a way to brand. \u00a0So, all you #NCWine folks out there, USE THE DANG HASHTAG! \u00a0And don&#8217;t put an &#8216;S&#8217; on it! \u00a0Be consistent with most other wine regions! \u00a0The &#8216;S&#8217; is not necessary!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2840\" src=\"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/your-wine-is-30-a-bottle-youre-making-me-drink-out-of-a-2-glass-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/your-wine-is-30-a-bottle-youre-making-me-drink-out-of-a-2-glass-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/your-wine-is-30-a-bottle-youre-making-me-drink-out-of-a-2-glass-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/your-wine-is-30-a-bottle-youre-making-me-drink-out-of-a-2-glass.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Poor tasting glasses.<\/strong> \u00a0We&#8217;ll admit it. \u00a0We&#8217;re glass snobs. \u00a0Please no glasses with the &#8220;lip&#8221; around the rim. \u00a0These just don&#8217;t show wines well. \u00a0Upgrade the glass and the experience!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2841\" src=\"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/images.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"299\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/images.jpeg 299w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/images-150x84.jpeg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 299px) 100vw, 299px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Untrained tasting room staff.<\/strong> \u00a0There&#8217;s nothing worse than tasting room staff who know nothing about the wines they are pouring. \u00a0We understand that getting good help can be difficult, but a poor experience affects your brand.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Too many wines on the list.<\/strong> \u00a0We see this all the time. \u00a0Wines lists with 10, 15 or even 20 wines. \u00a0We feel this is just too many to be able to focus on quality unless you have a large production staff. \u00a0So, scale it back. \u00a0You don&#8217;t need a new wine for every season.<\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8220;Fruited&#8221; wines.<\/strong> \u00a0Why do we need pomegranate, green apple, cranberry, cherry, pineapple and umpteen other fruits added to our perfectly fruity grape wines? \u00a0Wine grapes produce wines with an abundance of fruit flavors. Let the grapes speak for themselves.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wineries who aren&#8217;t forthcoming in where the grapes for their wine are sourced.<\/strong> \u00a0We like to know what we&#8217;re tasting and where it was sourced. \u00a0If you&#8217;re not using local fruit, admit it. \u00a0Don&#8217;t try to hide it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2838\" src=\"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/when-someone-wears-too-much-cologne-or-perfume-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/when-someone-wears-too-much-cologne-or-perfume-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/when-someone-wears-too-much-cologne-or-perfume-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/when-someone-wears-too-much-cologne-or-perfume-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/when-someone-wears-too-much-cologne-or-perfume-1104x1104.jpg 1104w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/when-someone-wears-too-much-cologne-or-perfume-912x912.jpg 912w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/when-someone-wears-too-much-cologne-or-perfume-550x550.jpg 550w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/when-someone-wears-too-much-cologne-or-perfume-470x470.jpg 470w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/when-someone-wears-too-much-cologne-or-perfume.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Perfume, cologne, or other powerful scents in the tasting room.<\/strong> \u00a0Nothing spoils a wine tasting more than someone who&#8217;s bathed in perfume or cologne. \u00a0A majority of the what you taste in a wine is from what you smell. \u00a0If you can&#8217;t smell the wine, it&#8217;s likely not going to taste very good.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2389\" src=\"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/BIRU-WP-20171214T164305GMT-0500-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/BIRU-WP-20171214T164305GMT-0500-300x168.jpg 300w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/BIRU-WP-20171214T164305GMT-0500-150x84.jpg 150w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/BIRU-WP-20171214T164305GMT-0500.jpg 650w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Children in tasting rooms.<\/strong> \u00a0This is probably our #1 grievance if we had to rank them. \u00a0Children can&#8217;t drink. \u00a0Don&#8217;t bring them with you to a winery. \u00a0Wining is an adult thing and many of us wish to adult in peace and quiet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2842\" src=\"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/i-brought-my-10-friends-to-taste-wine-what-do-you-mean-we-need-a-reservation-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/i-brought-my-10-friends-to-taste-wine-what-do-you-mean-we-need-a-reservation-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/i-brought-my-10-friends-to-taste-wine-what-do-you-mean-we-need-a-reservation-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/i-brought-my-10-friends-to-taste-wine-what-do-you-mean-we-need-a-reservation.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Parties of 6 or more in tasting rooms who have not called ahead.<\/strong> \u00a0This is annoying for tasting room staff and other customers. \u00a0If you&#8217;re in a group, be courteous!
