{"id":10375,"date":"2022-06-11T11:14:11","date_gmt":"2022-06-11T15:14:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/?p=10375"},"modified":"2026-05-30T15:15:45","modified_gmt":"2026-05-30T19:15:45","slug":"in-the-wine-light-national-rose-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/index.php\/in-the-wine-light-national-rose-day\/","title":{"rendered":"In the Wine Light \u2013 National Ros\u00e9 Day"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"940\" height=\"788\" src=\"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/National-Rose-Day.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12337\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/index.php\/in-the-wine-light\/\">In the Wine Light<\/a> is National Ros\u00e9 Day.\u00a0 This wine holiday was established in 2014 by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bodvarrose.com\/\">Bodv\u00e1r House of Ros\u00e9s<\/a> as way to celebrate everyone&#8217;s favorite pink drink.\u00a0 <strong>National Ros\u00e9 Day<\/strong> is celebrated annually on the <strong>Second Saturday of June<\/strong>.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ros\u00e9 is made in three ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Maceration<\/strong> &#8211; The skins of red grapes (usually picked early for higher acidity) are left to macerate in the juice for hours to a couple of days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Saign\u00e9e<\/strong> &#8211; This is the bleed off method.
