{"id":763,"date":"2015-09-26T20:41:38","date_gmt":"2015-09-27T00:41:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/?page_id=763"},"modified":"2015-10-09T17:37:35","modified_gmt":"2015-10-09T21:37:35","slug":"wedding-details","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/ncwineguys.com\/index.php\/wedding-invitation\/wedding-details\/","title":{"rendered":"Wedding Details"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s almost here!<\/p>\n<p>We can\u2019t believe that&nbsp;October 17<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;is almost here!&nbsp; We are so excited to share our special day with all of you.&nbsp; We wanted to reach out and give you a few reminders and a few more details.&nbsp; Please read this ENTIRE email.&nbsp; Yes, it\u2019s a bit long, but we don\u2019t want you to miss any important information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>Friday,&nbsp;October 16th<\/h1>\n<h2>Dinner at the Inn at Glen Alpine<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>For those who,RSVP\u2019d for dinner on&nbsp;Fridaynight, please arrive at the Inn at Glen Alpine NO LATER THAN 7pm.&nbsp; Dinner will begin promptly at 7pm.<\/li>\n<li>Dress is casual.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>The main course will be shrimp and grits.  We\u2019ll have them several different ways.  We also plan to have salad, biscuits, roasted fall vegetables and cake.  Water and Adult beverages will be provided. Feel free to bring your own soda, tea, etc.  No other alcohol please.<\/li>\n<li>We have the venue until 10pm.&nbsp; Noise ordinances prevent us from staying longer.<\/li>\n<li>The address for the Inn is&nbsp;105 Davis St, Morganton, NC 28655.<\/li>\n<li>If you are staying at the Inn you may park in the Guest Parking lot.&nbsp; Otherwise, look for the Event Parking signs and park in the field across from the Inn.<\/li>\n<li>Here are directions:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o   From I-40 Eastbound (45 miles from Asheville):<br \/>\n\u2022                Take Exit 100 &#8211; Jamestown Road\/Glen Alpine<br \/>\n\u2022                Turn right at the light at the end of the exit<br \/>\no   From I-40 Westbound (25 miles from Hickory):<br \/>\n\u2022                Take Exit 100 &#8211; Jamestown Road\/Glen Alpine.&nbsp;<br \/>\n\u2022                Turn left at the light at the end of the exit<br \/>\no   THEN<br \/>\n\u2022                Travel 7\/10ths of a mile and turn right, following the signs for the Elementary School and Glen Alpine<br \/>\n\u2022                Continue 2 miles to the stop sign (Highway 70 &#8211; &#8220;Main Street&#8221;)<br \/>\n\u2022                Proceed straight through the stop sign and cross over the railroad tracks<br \/>\n\u2022                Once across the tracks you will pass the Post Office and the Fire\/Police Station immediately on your right<br \/>\n\u2022                Turn right onto Davis Street 25 feet past the station<br \/>\n\u2022                The Inn is the third house on the left.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>Saturday,&nbsp;October 17th<\/h1>\n<h2>Celebrations<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>We respectfully ask that you REFRAIN\/LIMIT your celebrations with adult beverages prior arrival to Silver Fork Winery.&nbsp; There will be plenty of time and opportunities there.<\/li>\n<li>Prior to the ceremony, wine by the glass will be available for $5 per glass, limit 2 per person.<\/li>\n<li>Also, we ask that you keep it classy at the Silver Fork!&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>A sparkling wine toast will follow the ceremony.<\/li>\n<li>Craft beer, craft hard cider, and Silver Fork wine will be available at the open bar after the toast while supplies last<\/li>\n<li>Food trucks will be providing the food.&nbsp; Once the windows open, you can go order your dinner yourself.<\/li>\n<li>There will no assigned seats.  Find a seat and mingle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Children<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>We respectfully ask that there be no children over the age of 1 outside of our nieces and nephew.&nbsp; While we love your children, we don\u2019t love them at our wedding.&nbsp; Thanks for understanding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Dress<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Casual dress please.&nbsp; Nice Jeans, a nice shirt and good shoes; that\u2019s all you need.&nbsp; No one needs a fancy dress or suit and tie.<\/li>\n<li>Please bring a jacket, coat and\/or blanket, as we will be outside for the evening.&nbsp; It can get cool in mid-October in Western NC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Gifts<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>We request NO gifts for us.&nbsp; INSTEAD, we will have a donation box for cash\/checks to be split amongst our nieces and nephew for depositing into their college funds.&nbsp; We\u2019ll buy savings bonds with the funds collected.<\/li>\n<li>Also, be sure to sign in when you arrive!&nbsp; Look for our nieces to direct you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Transportation<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>If you requested wedding day transportation, please be sure we know where you\u2019re staying.&nbsp; Due to time constraints prior to the ceremony, the shuttle will only stop at the Hampton Inns in Marion and Morganton and the Inn at Glen Alpine.<\/li>\n<li>Here is the shuttle schedule:\n<ul>\n<li>3:00pm \u2013 Departs Silver Fork<\/li>\n<li>3:15pm \u2013 Pickup at Hampton Inn \u2013 Marion<\/li>\n<li>3:45pm \u2013 Pickup at Inn at Glen Alpine<\/li>\n<li>4:05pm \u2013 Arrive at Silver Fork<\/li>\n<li>4:10pm \u2013 Depart Silver Fork<\/li>\n<li>4:30pm \u2013 Arrive at Hampton Inn \u2013 Morganton<\/li>\n<li>4:35pm \u2013 Depart Hampton Inn &#8211; Morganton<\/li>\n<li>4:55pm \u2013 Arrive at Silver Fork<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Music<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Use your USB stick to download music for us to play at the wedding.<\/li>\n<li>Upon arrival, please find the Music Station (planned to be on the porch) and plug your USB drive in the computer.&nbsp; Drag your songs do the \u201cWedding Music\u201d folder.&nbsp; We\u2019ll have someone load them in the iTunes Library AFTER the toast.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Smoking at Silver Fork<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>SILVER FORK WINERY LLC is a non\u2010smoking venue. Ashtrays will be provided and smoking permitted only in designated areas.
